With one season of high school eligibility left, Albany Academy's Kennedy Swedick has made a commitment to play for the Virginia Cavaliers in golf after she graduates in 2024. The leader of the powerhouse Bears in the Colonial Council, we shan't be surprised if Swedick takes her game national and tries out for the LPGA at some point while at Virginia.

Union clinched their season series with RPI in men's hockey by winning the Mayor's Cup, 6-0, on Saturday at MVP Arena. The Dutchmen won by the same score on October 29. Connor Murphy (Hudson Falls) was in goal for both games, and seems to have the Engineers' number.

Meanwhile, the RPI women won the opener, 3-1.
