Troy High has found another use for Ed Picken Memorial Field.
The school announced last week that they will hold a special Senior Night outdoors on the field next Friday, June 2, ahead of the annual Senior Prom, set for June 10. Tickets for Senior Night will be $5, and there is an assortment of games and activities, intended not just for the seniors, but their families, it would appear.
Back when I was a student, the senior class would have a dinner and talent show the first Saturday in June ahead of finals. Apparently, the talent show has given way to this new attraction.
