News & notes

 The Tri-City Valleycats suffered another rainout Tuesday, as their game at Ottawa was postponed. They'll try again today at 5 pm with a doubleheader.
===========================================
Zach Remillard (LaSalle/Coastal Carolina) made his Citi Field debut with the Chicago White Sox Tuesday, but despite a furious late inning rally, the Pale Hose fell to the Mets, 11-10. Remillard went 1-5, and also reached base on a fielder's choice. His season average dips to .304.
============================================
The Albany Dutchmen know time is running out on their season.

The Dutchmen, though, made it 5 in a row Tuesday, besting Watertown, 6-4. Albany has the day off today, and will host Amsterdam in a doubleheader tomorrow in Guilderland. Entering league play today, Albany is 14 games behind Amsterdam, and, of course, that means they won't catch the Mohawks for the division title, but they can make up ground as best as possible.
