Later tonight, the Tri-City Valleycats will be looking to complete a sweep of the Ottawa Titans after sweeping a doubleheader Wednesday, 8-2 & 3-2.
The 'Cats, meanwhile, sent 1B Zach Biermann packing for the 2nd time this season in a recent trade, and, in a separate deal, welcomed back catcher Oscar Campos for his 3rd tour of duty with the team. Campos was on the team's last NY-Penn League roster in 2019, and rejoined Tri-City in 2021, their first year in the Frontier League.
Campos made an immediate impact, as his homered in each game of the doubleheader.
Tri-City comes home tomorrow to host the NY Boulders, followed by the Joliet Slammers next Tuesday-Thursday, with the Wednesday game the final matinee of the season. Biermann was traded to Joliet, and will play his former club next week.
