 It is official. The Albany Firebirds are back.

At a press conference Monday at MVP Arena, co-owner Mike Kwarta and his new partners, Andy Guelcher of Mohawk Chevrolet and Richard Szesnat of Constantine Construction & Farm met the media and revealed that the 'Birds will play in the revived Arena Football League, starting in March. It will be a 12 game schedule, running from March-June.

As previously reported Damon Ware returns to be not only the coach, as noted, but also as general manager. His first move was to bring back receiver and fan favorite Darius Prince.

It will be like old times again in 2024.
