 4 Section II teams have reached the state final fours in women's volleyball, with the championships to be decided this weekend at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls.


The lineup:

Class AAA: Shenendehowa vs. Massapequa, 8 am.

Class A: Burnt Hills vs. Mineola, 12:30 pm.

Class C: Galway vs. Millbrook, 5 pm.

Class D: Lake George vs. Tuxedo, 7:25 pm.

Meanwhile, Shen's men's team is the only one left in Section II, and will enter pool play Saturday at the Capital Center in downtown Albany. Pool play begins at 10 am.

We have the pairings for state regionals in football:

Friday:

Class A: 

Niskayuna vs. Cornwall at Goshen, 6 pm.

Averill Park vs. Somers at Mahopec, 7 pm.

Class C:

Fonda-Fultonville vs. Governeur at Ogdensburg Free Academy, 7 pm.

Saturday:

Class AA:

CBA @ Middletown, 12 noon.

Shenendehowa vs. Carmel @ Middletown, 3 pm.

Class B:

Ravena vs. Peru @ Mechanicville, 4 pm.

Class D:

Stillwater vs. Moriah @ Mechanicville, 12:30 pm.

Tonight's UAlbany-Seton Hall game will air on FS1 (Spectrum channel 400) at 6:30 pm. The game can also be heard, of course, on WTMM (ESPN Radio 104.5 FM).

In the lone game of local interest Tuesday, Skidmore College's women's basketball team defeated Oneonta, 63-32. Oneonta was held to just 14 points in the 2nd half.
