 Syrita Faraj, who played as a graduate transfer for the College of St. Rose this season, was named to the Empire 8 Conference's 25th anniversary team. Faraj, before coming to St. Rose, had played at Russell Sage after graduating from Tamarac. Congratulations to Syrita.

Jonathan Beagle is leaving UAlbany in his rear view mirror.

The Hudson Falls grad is transferring to Richmond for his junior season. Beagle left the Great Danes toward the end of this season due to "personal issues", but, as WNYT's Rodger Wyland opines in today's Albany Times-Union, a change of scenery and leagues may be just what Beagle needs.

The Albany Firebirds opened training camp on Monday at Hudson Valley Community College, inside the McDonough Field House. The 'Birds open at MVP Arena April 27 vs. Orlando. The Predators played in the National Arena League the last few years.
