Former Troy High & UAlbany receiver Dev Holmes will be reporting to rookie minicamp with the Jets, according to media reports. Holmes, who spent the last couple of years under the radar at Division II New Haven, could stick around long enough to see the field during pre-season action in August. Stay tuned.

The continuing idiocy of the sports department at the Albany Times-Union has no end.
This morning's listing of games on the schedule includes a flag football game between Troy & Columbia that had been played on Monday. We're still waiting to obtain the result of that game, given how poorly coaches are submitting results in a timely manner, or at all. Troy will play a Monday night game on the road this coming Monday at Shaker after they visit Albany Leadership on Friday, then return home May 8 to play Albany.
