News & notes

We do tend to overlook the Adirondack Thunder in the ECHL, but they've advanced to the 2nd round of the playoffs after eliminating Maine, 3-2, last night at Cool Insuring Arena. Norfolk is up next for the Thunder, starting tomorrow at Cool Insuring Arena in another 7 game series.

The Albany Patroons had a rare mid-week game at the Armory, and blew out their favorite patsies of late, the Tri-State Admirals, 142-116. Six Patroons finished in double figures to lead the rout. The Pats have just 3 home games left, as they'll play 4 of the final 7 games on the road, starting with Connecticut on Sunday.
