NYSPHSAA state regional matchups revealed

 For flag football, softball, & baseball, the real tests begin this weekend.

State lacrosse pairings will be announced as early as Thursday.

Flag football:

Columbia travels to Cortland to play Plainview-Old Bethpage, from Section 7, Saturday at 9:30 am.

Baseball:

Class AAA: Shenendehowa vs. CBA-Syracuse at Onondaga Community College, Saturday at 6 pm.

Class AA: Bethlehem vs. West Genesee at Dutchman Park (Keenholts Park), Guilderland, Saturday at 2.

Class A: Albany Academy vs. Plattsburgh at SUNY-Plattsburgh, Thursday at 4.

Class B: Taconic Hills vs. Saranac at Dutchman Park, Thursday at 4.

Class C: Chatham vs. Tupper Lake at St. Lawrence, Thursday at 5.

Class D: Hadley-Luzerne gets a bye, and will play the winner of Thursday's game between Bolton and Parishville-Hopkinton on Saturday at a site to be determined. The Eagles will be headed to either St. Lawrence or Plattsburgh High.

Softball:

Class AAA: Saratoga vs. Liverpool at Luther Forest, Saturday at 5.

Class AA: Burnt Hills will play an opponent not yet named, Saturday at Luther Forest, also at 5.

Class A: Ichabod Crane at Plattsburgh, Thursday at 4:30.

Class B: Schuylerville vs. Gouveneur at St. Lawrence, Thursday at 5.

Class C: Berne-Knox-Westerlo vs. Ticonderoga at Plattsburgh, Wednesday at 4:30.

Class D: Salem vs. an opponent not yet named, Friday at Plattsburgh at 4:30.
