 The Tri-City Valleycats defeated the New England Knockouts, 4-1, on Tuesday, behind a stellar start from Arlo Marynczak (Bethlehem/Siena). Marynczak went 6 1/3 innings to pick up the win and go to 4-3 on the season.

Matt Gage hasn't gotten into a game yet with the Mets, but the veteran lefty was optioned back to Syracuse today after the team made some trade deadline deals. Figure Gage (Broadalbin-Perth/Siena) will return soon.
