 The Tri-City Valleycats dropped a 7-4 decision to Sussex County Saturday, meaning the 'Cats have to win today to earn a home game vs. Ottawa on Tuesday at Bruno Stadium.


The Miners have scheduled tonight's game for 6:35 pm, likely because it's the holiday weekend.

Zach Remillard has been moved from the developmental list to the injured list with the Chicago White Sox's Triple A affiliate in Charlotte. The ChiSox could use the struggling Remillard right about now, having lost the first two games of their weekend set vs. the Mets.

Meanwhile, per the Albany Times-Union's chart, Michael Kennedy's stats include his stint with Bradenton before being promoted to Greensboro. The Troy High grad is 2-5 overall.

Jeff Hoffman (Shaker) pitched an inning in relief last night for Philadelphia in their win over Atlanta, but not as the closer this time.
