News & notes

Siena's men's basketball team is now 3-0 after dispatching American University, 74-66, in front of just over 4400 fans at MVP Arena Tuesday night.

Justice Shoats led Siena with 18 points. Peter Carey & Brendan Coyle added 16 apiece. Marcus Jackson (Albany Academy) got the start, but finished with just 4 points.

Next up is the Albany Cup at UAlbany on Saturday.

Speaking of UAlbany, the Great Danes are at Dartmouth for a men's & women's doubleheader, with the men tipping off first at 5 pm. The women's game will start at 8 pm, and for the Section II alums on the Lady Danes roster, they'll run into a familiar face.

Ellie Cerf (Bethlehem) is a freshman reserve for the Dartmouth women's team, and has just 5 points in 12 minutes played so far.
