High School Fridays: Brotherhood on the court (LaSalle @ Catholic Central, 1/10/25)

WNYA's high school game of the week returns after a 2 week layoff with a doozy of a game.

In the first of two games the station will air from Riverside Center in Mechanicville, Catholic Central hosts LaSalle. The Cadets are coming off a 4 point win over Troy on Tuesday, while Catholic Central blew out Ravena.

After Greg Davis left for Colonie following the 2022-3 season, LaSalle hired veteran Orlando DiBacco as head coach. DiBacco's brother, Guy, is the Catholic Central coach, in his 5th season. LaSalle principal Steve Sgambelluri is on the call with Rodger Wyland:

Tra'Dell Faison racked up 32 points for the 2nd straight game, having done the same to Troy three nights ago.

It was a good night for LaSalle, as their hockey team snapped a 2 game losing streak, beating Albany Academy, 6-3. The teams will be rematched at Frear Park on February 15, which will be LaSalle's Senior Night.

Speaking of Troy, the women defeated Cohoes, 36-25....
