 Amsterdam grad Dale Stanovich has been given an invitation to spring training by the Miami Marlins, who drafted him a couple of years ago. What this tells us is that there's a good chance Stanovich could wind up in "The Show" within a year or two. We'll be paying attention when pre-season games begin in late February-early March.

RPI & Union warmed up for tonight's Mayor's Cup doubleheader at MVP Arena as the Union women defeated RPI, 2-1, at Messa Rink Friday, the last time RPI visits Union's on campus arena before the Garnet Chargers move to Mohawk Harbor Arena next season.

The women face off first at 3 pm, with the men scheduled for 6 pm. The men's game at least, will be on WRPI FM.
