News & notes

I can't stress this enough to start. Please check with your schools to see if their games will still go on tonight, with a winter storm arriving the tri-cities beginning around 1 pm. I realize that we're near the end of the regular season in hockey & basketball, and any games cancelled today might not be made up.

Maybe Siena should've done a Valentine's Day promotion for Friday's game vs. Marist at MVP Arena.

Less than 5,000 fans filled the arena, only to go home disappointed, as Marist toppled the Saints, 65-64. Gavin Doty led Siena with 20 points, while Justice Shoats & Major Freeman added 16 each. Weather permitting, the Saints will head to Connecticut to play Sacred Heart on Sunday before returning to MVP Arena next Friday to play Niagara.
