Jeff Hoffman (Shaker) has settled into his new role as the closer for the Toronto Blue Jays. Hoffman picked up his 3rd save Wednesday, as Toronto defeated Washington, 4-2. Hoffman has a 2.25 ERA to start the season.

After making his season debut Tuesday, and pitching 2 innings of scoreless relief for the Los Angeles Angels, Ian Anderson (Shen) was tagged with the loss Wednesday, charged with 5 runs (4 earned) on 5 hits with a walk and a strikeout in 1 inning as St. Louis bested the Angels, 12-5.
