Former Siena coach Jamion Christian is returning to haunt UAlbany anew, this time within their own league.
Christian was hired Thursday to be the new head coach at Bryant, an America East rival of Albany, succeeding Phil Martelli, Jr., who led Bryant to the America East title last month.
In his only season at Siena, Christian led the Saints to a 17-15 record before leaving for George Washington. Martelli left Bryant to be the head man at Virginia Commonwealth.

The Albany Times-Union breaks down their basketball all-stars by large schools & small schools, to give more student-athletes some postseason shine.
Many of the women on their large school all-star team were similarly honored by WNYT earlier this season.
Large Schools 1st team:
El'Dior Dobere & Tanavia Turpin, Catholic Central.
Shea Canavan, Queensbury.
Kaitlyn Robbins, Bethlehem.
Alivia Landy, Columbia.
Dobere was also named Player of The Year.
2nd team:
Jayla Geter, Shaker.
Kate Milliham, Shenendehowa.
Sarah Rainville, Columbia.
Ella Trimarchi, Colonie.
Arianna Verardi, Averill Park.
3rd team:
Azera Gates & Jasannti Francis, Albany.
Peyton Hoblock, Shaker.
Kendyl Ouimette, Columbia.
Brooke Lilley, Guilderland.
Notice how Catholic Central was the only Colonial Council team represented. Same with Queensbury of the Foothills Council. The bias in favor of the Suburban Council is obvious.
Small schools 1st team:
Kayla Beaudoin, Tamarac.
Brooke Kuzmich & Bailee Wolfe, Greenwich.
Mia Carmody, Voorheesville.
Kate Gilooly, LaSalle.
Kuzmich was also Player of The Year.

Ava Edmond, Catskill.
Hailey Monroe, Northville.
Miranda Price & Addison Thornton, Stillwater.
Jordan Wolfe, Greenwich.
3rd team:
Arianna Brandon & Gianna Cirilla, Schalmont.
Baileigh Briski, Coxsackie-Athens.
Molly DiSiena, Mechanicville.
Sophia Ryan, Saratgoa Catholic.
