 RPI has hired Eric Lang as their new hockey coach, replacing Dave Smith, who was fired after a poor 2024-5 season. Lang spent the last 9 seasons at American International, his alma mater. 

It's been 40 years since RPI won a national title, and this year's team didn't exactly honor the past with their performance.

Another day, another Siena player enters the transfer portal.

Aniya Hooker, a freshman, announced Tuesday she was going to transfer for personal reasons, saying she was not comfortable discussing her decision.

Teresa Seppala was the biggest name to enter the portal, and will play for Tulsa next year.

Former Albany Dutchmen manager Nick Davey is the new head baseball coach at CBA, succeeding the late Casey O'Connor. Davey served as an assistant under O'Connor last season, and the two were college teammates years ago. There's something about legacy that fits this scenario.

Troy High is touting the success of its women's JV lacrosse team, which is 2-0. It's only a matter of time before they start a women's varsity program in lacrosse.

UAlbany may be below .500 in baseball, but it didn't look like it in a 10-2 thumping of Marist on Tuesday. The Great Danes are 10-17 overall.

For the 3rd time in 4 games, the Albany Firebirds will be on Vice TV, as they'll play Billings in a rematch of last year's championship game. Kickoff is set for just after 7 pm Sunday.
