UAlbany interim football coach Jared Ambrose has named Jack Shields as his starting QB for the season opener in a couple of weeks.
In other UAlbany news, the school & Siena have finalized a new 4 year deal to continue the Albany Cup basketball series, as the schools will alternate home sites. In other words, 2 games at MVP Arena, 2 at SEFCU Arena. The deal is good through the 2028-9 season.
