Section II released its field hockey sectional pairings over the weekend. Soccer pairings will be announced early this afternoon. Without further ado:
Tuesday:
Niskayuna @ Shenendehowa. Winner to play #1 Bethlehem the following week.
Shaker @ Guilderland. Winner to play #2 Saratoga the following week.
The finals will be November 2 at Schuylerville at 11 am.
Class B:
Wednesday:
Columbia @ Scotia. Winner to play #1 Burnt Hills the following week.
Glens Falls @ South Glens Falls. Winner to play #2 Queensbury the following week.
The finals will be at Schuylerville November 2 at 1 pm.
Class C:
Thursday:
Schuylerville @ Granville. Winner to play #1 Hoosick Falls the following week.
Corinth @ Greenwich. Winner to play #2 Johnstown the following week.
The finals are at Schuylerville November 2 at 3 pm.

The Toronto Blue Jays are a game away from returning to the World Series for the first time in 32 years.
Toronto evened the series at 3 games each with a 6-2 win on Sunday. Jeff Hoffman (Shaker) pitched the final 2 innings to preserve the win for rookie Trey Yesavage, who avenged his loss to the Mariners in game 2. Hoffman walked 1 and struck out 4 while not giving up a hit in the 2 innings.
Game 7 is tonight at 8 on Fox.

South Glens Falls' Hayden Knapp captured the Section II women's golf title over the weekend, finishing at 3 over par, but it was enough to beat the field. Knapp will move on to play in state competition in June.
