Wednesday was not a good day for Siena.
The men have now lost five of their last seven after falling to Sacred Heart, 86-80, in front of just over 4000 fans at MVP Arena.
Gavin Doty led Siena with 20 points in a losing effort. The Saints will try to get back on track Saturday at Manhattan (WJMZ, ESPN+, 2 pm).
Meanwhile, it was Kids' Day at Sacred Heart for the women, and the Lady Saints dropped their 3rd straight, 70-58. Amelia Wood (Averill Park) led Sacred Heart with a game high 21 points. Francesca Schiro led Siena, as she has most of the season, with 17 points. Siena returns home to play St. Peter's on Family Day on Saturday (WVCR, 2 pm).
