UAlbany alumnus Juwan Green has yet to appear in a game for the Atlanta Falcons. Green was signed two weeks ago, and was promoted from the practice squad in time for Sunday's game vs. Washington. However, he remained on the sidelines for the entire game, or, if he did see the field, he didn't catch any passes from quarterback Matt Ryan.

Burnt Hills' women's volleyball team took part in the ASICS Challenge in Chicago last weekend. While the Spartans haven't lost a Section II match this season, they went 3-2 in the tournament, finishing 7th after losing consecutive matches on Saturday morning.

Congratulations to Maple Hill men's soccer coach Dan Gillespie, who earned his 700th career victory Monday, as the Wildcats shut out Watervliet, 5-0. The Wildcats are now 10-0 on the season (9-0 in the Patroon Conference) with three games left, two of them in league play.
