News & notes

UAlbany's women's basketball team made it 2 in a row over MAAC schools Wednesday, dispatching Canisus 65-46. Grace Heeps (Columbia) had 8 points, including 2 3 pointers. She's hit 4 treys in the last two games. Lilly Phillips (Cambridge) contributed 4 points. Both Heeps & Phillips were in Colleen Mullen's starting lineup. Abby Ray (Saratoga) didn't score.

Maybe UAlbany should consider moving to the MAAC if they want to play Siena every year. Just sayin'.
