Union College's men's hockey team was back on the ice Saturday. That was the good news. The bad? They lost to Harvard, 4-1.
In addition, updated COVID guidelines at the school now prohibit "outside spectators" as of Friday. One wonders what this means when RPI & Union play each other for the Mayor's Cup at MVP Arena later this month.

Siena' women's basketball team returned to action as well, but are still looking for their first win of the season. The Lady Saints fell to Quinnipiac, 68-51, to drop to 0-10. It's not looking good for Jim Jabir's 2nd tour of duty in Loudonville unless he can turn things around in a royal hurry.

UAlbany split their men's & women's games vs. New Hampshire.
The men dropped a heartbreaker, 64-62, as the Danes are still dealing with COVID. Coach Dwayne Killings shared the other day that he had tested positive.
The women, meanwhile, downed New Hampshire, 50-39. Grace Heeps (Columbia) had 9 points. Abby Ray (Saratoga) had 2, and Lilly Phillips (Cambridge) added 6 to help the winning cause.
