Troy High changes, week of January 10

COVID-19 continues to be a plague at Troy High, affecting their basketball teams, and, potentially, their bowling team.

As noted earlier, Troy's bowling match vs. Shenendehowa on Tuesday was postponed. No make-up date has yet been set, but, with 2 1/2 weeks left in the regular season (league championships are February 2 at Boulevard Bowl), they'll need to get that date set ASAP.

As for basketball:

A JV women's game vs. Cambridge, also scheduled for last night, has been postponed until January 26, two weeks from tonight.

A non-league men's varsity game vs. Mount Anthony Union of Vermont, originally set for January 3, then rescheduled for January 15, has been pushed back again, this time to February 12.

A men's varsity game at  Albany scheduled for Friday, has been postponed, and will now take place on Wednesday, February 9. That means the men's varsity will have had a full week's rest before a rematch vs. Schenectady at Zotto Gym on January 18.

Pray that this will be the end, but nothing, of course, is guaranteed.
