10 years ago, Trenity Burdine wore the colors of the Siena Saints, and played on some mediocre teams, when healthy.
Friday, Burdine made his first visit to the 518 since graduating as a member of the Reading Rebels of The Basketball League, as Reading made their first visit to the Washington Avenue Armory to play the Albany Patroons.
Burdine had a game high 33 points, but the night belonged to birthday boy AJ Mosby. The newly named All-Star led Albany with 27 points as the Patroons beat Reading, 123-100.
Albany hosts the Syracuse Stallions Sunday afternoon, and will be accepting donations for a local food pantry. Game time is at 2 pm.
