Sorting out the final Suburban Council baseball standings

Courtesy of the league's Twitter page, these are the unofficial final standings in the Suburban Council in baseball for 2022:

Overall, Troy finishes in a 3-way tie for 4th, five games behind Colonie. Averill Park is placed ahead of Troy due to the tiebreaker, as the Warriors beat Troy last month. Burnt Hills faded down the stretch to finish 7-7 in league play. The order of finish in each division looks like this:

Blue division:

1. Colonie.
2. Guilderland.
3. CBA.
4. Shaker.
5. Saratoga.
5 (tie). Shenendehowa.
7. Bethlehem.
8. Niskayuna.

Grey division:

1. Averill Park.
1 (tie). Troy High.
3. Burnt Hills.
4. Ballston Spa.
5. Columbia
6. Schenectady.
7. Albany.

If 6 wins is still the standard for eligibility for sectionals, then the bottom two teams in each division would be eliminated from post-season play. We'll know for sure when the pairings are announced early next week.
