High School Fridays: The weather outside is frightful........

 And it's already playing havoc with tonight's schedule. The following games have been postponed:

Hockey:

Queensbury @ CBA.

Bethlehem @ Adirondack.

Women's basketball:

Troy @ Academy of Holy Names.

The announcement was made at Holy Names a short time ago, as it also postpones Alumni Recognition Night at the school. No make-up dates have been set, and for both teams, it is their 2nd postponement in as many weeks.

Speaking of Troy, for the 2nd time in 3 weeks, some weasel allegedly has included a malicious link to the school's Twitter feed promoting tonight's game. Did the same thing prior to the Burnt Hills game 2 weeks ago.

As of right now, the only remaining hockey game on the schedule, LaSalle @ Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake-Ballston Spa, is still on with a 7:45 puck drop at the Schenectady County Recreational Facility. That could still change in the next five hours.

Update, 5:56 pm.: LaSalle @ Burnt Hills has been postponed. No make-up date set.

Holy Names is coming off a 78-19 blowout win over Lansingburgh yesterday.

Earlier today, in non-league action, Albany's undefeated women's basketball team, defeated Rome Free Academy, 67-60.
