Tuesday's high school scoreboard, 12/6

 To borrow from the 80's metal band, Cinderella, it's going to be a long, cold winter for Troy High's women's basketball team.

The Lady Horses' offense was left at the starting gate on Tuesday, as Colonie dominated in the Suburban Council opener for both teams. To make matters worse, the box score in today's Albany Times-Union is incorrect, as the video will prove:

The final was Colonie 65, Troy 14, not 67-16. Laila Thomas led Troy with 10 points. Troy's quarter numbers were 5, 1, 2, & 6. Troy falls to 0-3 (0-1 Suburban Council). If there's any solace, their next opponent, Burnt Hills, also lost on Tuesday, 70-50, to Albany. So of course, the Spartans will take it out on Troy on Friday.
