We have learned in the last hour that two of the three women's basketball sectional games scheduled for tonight have been postponed, and moved to Saturday. Only the Class B game, with Mekeel Christian visiting Cohoes, is still on, and will tip at 6 pm.
As for the Class A games, Amsterdam @ Mohonasen now will be played on Saturday, but not at Mohonasen, due to a scheduling conflict. The game will now be at Schalmont, with a 1 pm tip.
Scotia-Glenville @ Burnt Hills is also rescheduled for Saturday at 1 at Burnt Hills.
While no reason has been given for the changes, it's likely due to the prospect of inclement weather in Saratoga & Schenectady counties inhibiting travel.
Also, Troy @ South Glens Falls has had its start time moved up 5 hours from 6 pm to 1 pm on Saturday. No reason has been provided for this change, but it should actually benefit both teams.
