News & notes

Congratulations to the Connecticut men's basketball team, who won their 5th NCAA title Monday, defeating San Diego State, 76-59. Andre Jackson (Albany Academy) scored just 3 points in 34 minutes

In other 518 alumni news, Daniel "Boo" Buie (Troy High, Gould Academy), a senior at Northwestern, has declared for the NBA draft. Buie came of age with the Wildcats the last couple of seasons, but it's a question of where he'll land if he joins Kevin Huerter in the NBA.
