The league has placed a franchise in Brockton, Massachusetts, to replace the Empire State Greys after 2 seasons. What isn't clear is whether or not Pete Incaviglia would return for a 4th season as Valleycats manager. That should be cleared up soon.

Update, 11:19 am: Incaviglia will not return, per a report from the Albany Times-Union.

Troy High's women's soccer team picked up its 3rd win of the season Tuesday, defeating Salem, 2-0. The two teams will meet again Monday at Picken Field. In between, the Lady Horses host Colonie tonight at 7. A road match vs. Scotia, scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed, with no reason given.

In other Troy news, a volleyball match at Cohoes was postponed yesterday, also with no explanation. It could be either a COVID issue, or a lack of available officials, which has, in fact, forced the cancellation of some modified events (Middle schoolers) this season.
