After seeing their 9 game winning streak snapped last weekend, the College of St. Rose's women's basketball team got back on the winning track Wednesday, taking down St. Anselm, 50-43. Syrita Faraj (Tamarac) led the Knights with 14 points.

We are waiting for the result of Wednesday's Troy-Emma Willard basketball game. Curiously, the game was not listed on the Jesters' page on the Wasaren League website, and plans for a livestream on Hudl were cancelled last minute. We should get confirmation by this time tomorrow.

Meanwhile, the Troy keglers fell to Saratoga, 23-9, at Spare Time Saratoga. Anthony Mainello led Troy with a 670 triple. Tyler McCarthy took top honors for the Blue Streaks with a 712 set. Troy was scheduled to host Schenectady today, but that match apparently was moved up, per coach Dennis Poutre's announcement the other day that they'd beaten Schenectady. Troy is now 4-5.
