The men's sectional basketball tournaments ended Saturday at Cool Insuring Arena in Glens Falls with a quadruple-header, which saw some surprising results.

Any hope Colonie and coach Greg Davis had of completing a perfect season evaporated in the nightcap, as Green Tech blew out Colonie, 75-45, to claim the Class AAA title. The Eagles had won the last two Class AA titles, leading to Saturday's surprising rout.

There won't be any sectional titles heading into Troy, as Niskayuna beat LaSalle, 70-66, to win the AA title.

In Class A, Glens Falls, which has seen a resurgence this season, dominating the Foothills Council, took down Catholic Central, 58-52. Over in Class D, North Warren, out of the Adirondack League, defeated the other independent in the tournament, Loudonville Christian, 73-55.
