Aktivate is reporting that Troy High & Bethlehem have postponed their softball game for today due to, we think, wet grounds at Troy on what would've been Senior Day for the Lady Horses, who have just one senior, Katie Pryor. The ladies will travel to Niskayuna on Wednesday & Columbia on Thursday, weather permitting.
The anticipation of heavy rain on Wednesday has prompted Troy & Niskayuna to reschedule their baseball game, set for Wednesday, for tomorrow. Troy has dropped 6 of its last 7 after getting shut out by Averill Park, 9-0, on Friday. Today's baseball game between Troy & Bethlehem is still on, as is the flag football game between Troy and Shaker, and the men's lacrosse match vs. Albany.
We can confirm that Troy softball's non-league game vs. Catholic Central (Holy Trinity), scheduled for Thursday, was cancelled due to the rescheduling of a postponed game between Holy Trinity and Cohoes at Knickerbocker Park. That game is still imperiled by the prospect of rain.
