In the wake of threats of violence directed toward Bethlehem High's football team, the school has postponed their home opener vs. CBA, set for tonight. Next week's home game vs. Troy could also be in jeopardy if the threat isn't resolved by then.
All after-school activities at Bethlehem for Thursday were postponed or cancelled, and it's likely more of the same today.

Former Troy High & Holy Trinity football coach John Barber had hoped to resurrect his career as a volunteer assistant at Scotia-Glenville, but the school board would not approve his hire, so Barber's son, Colton, and another assistant have resigned, ahead of tonight's game vs. Glens Falls.
Per the Daily Gazette, it's believed that Tartans head coach Bob Leto will not be on the sidelines, either. Leto has been on leave since Tuesday, and assistant coach Jason Kritz will sub for Leto tonight, and possibly, beyond that point.
John Barber went 1-7 in his only season at Troy in 2021.
