 Siena grad Kyle Downey went wire to wire to win the NY Mid-Amateur golf tournament on Sunday. Will this lead to, perhaps, a sponsor's exemption for a PGA event down the road? We'll see.

Prior to Friday's Homecoming night loss to Columbia, Troy High held a pep rally at Zotto Gym, hoping that would change the team's fortunes after a loss to Bethlehem a week earlier. I didn't think they still did these.

Anyway, at halftime of the game, Taylor Case was crowned as Homecoming Queen for the Class of 2025:
