This week, Niskayuna makes its 2nd appearance on My4's game of the week, this time hosting CBA. Steve Dagostino joins Rodget Wyland at the desk.
That it took Niskayuna to nearly halfway through the 1st quarter to score suggested a tighter game than it ended up. Next week, the women take center stage, as Shenendehowa hosts Bethlehem.
Meanwhile, speaking of the women:
LaSalle defeated Cohoes, 64-47. Troy, meanwhile, saw their 6 game winning streak come to a crashing end as they were mauled by the Bears of Albany Academy, 61-33. The Bears employed the same kind of tight man-to-man defense that plagued Troy in their final years in the Suburban Council, Being held to 6 points in both the 2nd & 3rd quarters didn't help Troy's cause at all. Fortunately for Will Harris' club, they could find it a bit easier playing Voorheesville on Tuesday.
