 Sometimes, you can go home again.

Rashaun Freeman (Schenectady, Albany Patroons, UMass) is teaming with the Schenectady City School District and the city of Schenectady to revive the Jerry Burrell Summer League, which helped Freeman and others, such as James Thomas and Willie Deane, start their careers. The league initially launched in 1986, according to the Albany Times-Union.

The Tri-City Valleycats made it 2 in a row beating the NY Boulders, 7-3, on Tuesday night. Jake Reinisch (Shen/Wake Forest) went 2-5 with an RBI. His batting average after 3 games is a tidy .400.
