News & notes

When the team begins play later this year at Times-Union Center, they will be known as the Albany FireWolves, rather than revive the dormant Albany Attack name used 20 years ago.

The team wasted little time after Thursday's presser with advertising hype. Now, all they need is to fill out the roster. Stay tuned.

UAlbany's men's lacrosse match vs. Vermont this weekend has been postponed due to COVID issues. CBA will play a crossover game today at Burnt Hills-Ballston Lake, while Guilderland has essentially earned a bye week.

The rest of the classes will wrap their "regular seasons" today & tomorrow.
