RPI has found their goaltender for the next couple of years.
Freshman Jack Watson posted his 3rd shutout, stopping 18 shots, as the Engineers blanked Dartmouth, 2-0, Tuesday night. The Toronto native has strung together the three shutouts over the last two weeks, giving RPI some momentum with the playoffs around the corner.
Back at home, the women dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to Princeton. The men will play at Princeton on Friday.

Siena ran its men's basketball winning streak to 3 in a row, beating Canisius, 73-65, at MVP Arena. Anthony Gaines had 24 points to lead the Saints, who are scheduled to continue their homestand Friday vs. Rider. A winter storm arriving late Thursday could change plans.

Troy High's women's basketball team dropped its 4th straight game Tuesday night in humiliating fashion, 64-23, to Columbia. Addie Borowsky led Troy with 9 points despite getting into foul trouble. No Troy player broke double figures. Makya Chapman returned after missing the last two games, but didn't score.
Columbia led, 27-5, at the break, and, up by over 30 points in the 4th quarter, were still taking 3 point shots, showing absolutely no respect to their hosts. The Lady Devils proved to be more proficient with the full court press than others, not even allowing Troy to reach mid-court on several possessions. Their coach, though, should apologize for running up the score in the 2nd half against an undermanned Troy team that dressed just 9 players. Columbia has won 2 straight after losing 7 in a row.
In contrast, the Troy boys broke a two game losing streak in beating Columbia, 59-44. Markus Green led the way for Troy with 16 points, one of four Flying Horses in double figures. Columbia coach Curt Sankey is now 1-6 lifetime against his alma mater.

Long Island University is in just its 2nd season of hockey, but they looked like world beaters in upsetting Union, 4-1, on Tuesday. The Dutchmen, sky high after the Mayor's Cup win on Saturday, might've left themselves vulnerable to a letdown.

Troy/CBA's swim team has one meet left in a lost season after losing to Shaker, 89-52, on Tuesday. The Flying Brothers (0-7) finish next week on Senior Day vs. Burnt Hills-Scotia.

LaSalle's basketball team snapped a 4 game losing streak in beating Mohonasen, 78-52. Adam Myers led all scorers with 16 points. JJ Thompson & Jason Bradwell added 11 each.
On the women's side, Averill Park spoiled Senior Night for Bethlehem in completing a season sweep of the Lady Eagles, 61-49. Unfortunately, the box score was not submitted to the press in time for press this morning. Bethlehem has dropped 3 in a row and 5 of 7 after a 7-0 start.
The reverse held true on the men's side, however, as CJ Franchini's 3 pointer, with less than a second left, lifted Bethlehem past Averill Park, 39-37. Dave Pugilese's club has fallen on hard times this season.
