 Siena College is mourning the passing of former men's lacrosse coach Russ Ferris, who passed away recently at 85.

After leaving Siena, Ferris coached at Guilderland (1984-97), and served as the Section II lacrosse chairman during this period.

Bethlehem grad Matt Quatraro picked up his first playoff win Monday, as the Kansas City Royals evened their AL Division Series with the Yankees at 1-1, defeating the AL East champs, 4-2.

The series resumes Wednesday in Kansas City.
